Right now I'm reading Summer of the Monkeys.

         Right now I'm reading Summer of th Monkeys, I'm not finished yet but it is so hilarious. Wilson Rawls is the best writer ever! I want to read all of his books. Summer of the Monkeys I think is just as good as Where the Red Fern Grows, besides the last chapter. The last chapter is so sad, whenever I look at the cover I want to cry. With Daisy's crumpled leg, it must of been hard for her to get around. It's really sad that they would have to pay a lot of money to fix it, it was really nice of  his grandpa to get them a place to stay in the mountains.
       I think one of the funny parts are when Daisy tells Jay Berry that there is a man of the mountains and he'll give you bad luck. Want to know what that reminded me of, Santa Claus coming and you were being naughty and he gave you cole. It's a nice joke especially because it's close to Christmas. I can't believe it 6 more days till' Christmas it's unbelievable! I think another funny part in the book is when Jimbo gets Jay Berry and Rowdy drunk, thats really funny, who would take sour mash and drink it to be a friend? Its's just weird, I guess I can't blame him because he didn't know it could get him drunk.
         Right now I'm on chapter 13 so I've past halve way, there's 20 chapter in the book so I have 7 left to go. To those people who haven't had a chance to read it find one along with Where the Red Fern Grows.
   

who wants to hear how third grade is going???????

            Well this might not be shocking but in first grade and second grade I didn't learn something new every day just once in a while. But now in 3rd grade I learn something new almost every day.  But the thing is a lot of the other 3rd graders in different classes say she is the meanest teacher that teaches 3rd grade. At the beginning of the year I thought that, but I once you get used to her, she isn't that bad. But one thing for sure about her, she's a lot more different than I imagined her to be.
                   Have you seen the pictures of our new cats, there soooooo cute.Some of you probaly have but I know one family hasn't. Wynn and Heidi and Alea and Weston!

every body has heard about the last day of school. but what i want to know is different, why are people so exited? your leaving your teacher, your friends. i understand their exited for vacation and stuff like that. its just weird.

poems

a couple of days ago my teacher said that were going to be focusing on poems this week. so when i went back to my desk, i started thinking. and my teacher had said that if you think of a name, your imagination would do the thinking.


so as i started thinking, i was finding it impossible to think of one.so i looked around the room, and saw my friend Hadley, wearing a dress, it was a dress that had flowers on it. so i found a name for my poem. flowers. i thought it was going to be easy.


but about a minute later,i had only written down one line. i whispered to the person sitting next to me "my imagination isn't working." then all the sudden, my teacher said "its time to clean up for lunch."


i said that making poems is impossible. i started laughing, the next day i finished two poems. i said i take back what i said yesterday.and then i got really good at making poems.

April Fool's at school!

on April 1, my teacher showed us a word search. she said it was really important that we finish it today. but we only had five minutes until lunch time. so she said that if we didn't finish it, we would have to stay in for recess and do it. and not to look off of other peoples papers, because everybody's papers were different. so we started working and five minutes passed. the person next to me said but i didn't find any! one by one everyone said me too. then my teacher got us quiet and said April fools! the class started saying that it was mean, but pretty soon, we were all laughing.


that was the best April fools joke ever. so my teacher said to take it home and do it to your parents, and if you want to know what happen next, go to my moms blog and read.

moms, just don't understand!

mom's just don't understand when its hot outside. epically when their children {which would be me} are going to school. I take my coat, and right when i start walking out the door. my mom says "Susanna put your coat on." i say "but its hot outside. why can't you adults understand! if it is cold i'll put it on when i'm ready! we always argue!



so moms when your child says its hot outside. only talk about coats if they don't have one in their arms. but that doesn't work in summer. cause then it really is hot outside.

i wish we had minky back!

once upon a time, but this is true. there lived a little mink, actually... a ferret, know.. it is definitely a mink. living under our pond. stealing cat food. running around, and acting like a cat. rubbing our windows. and hiding. it made us call animal control. and leave us a cat trap. it got cought. and we brought it inside.
